RESUCAT® 213-14 series
RESUCAT® 213-14 is a base for low migration metallic Cationic UV curing printing ink for use by flexo printing.
RESUCAT® 213-14 mixed with 8% REDIVERS 300 UV ADDITIVE 0213 (Photoinitiator) can be used for print on Polyamide sausage casings and for print on food grade flexible packaging, where exceptional properties are required.
RESUCAT® 213-14 was originally developed for printing on polyamide sausage casings.
The fully cured print achieves very high resistance properties, including heat-, frost-, oil & grease- and boiling- resistances.
The fully cured print can meet different demands, including indirect food contact.
Because Gold & silver cationic UV curing inks are poorly stable, Inks are supplied as 2-component inks, hereby improving storage stability.
Acclimatize the ink & components to pressroom conditions before use.
We recommend mixing the two components shortly before use. Mixing ratios are 92% base and 8% additive.

| Recommendations | Cationic inks are inhibited by water and amines, thus care must be taken for humidity / moisture and alkali (soaps etc.). |
| Shelf life & Storage | RESUCAT® 210-14 series should be used within 1 year from manufacture. It is recommended to store the product at a temperature between 5ºC and 30ºC. Do not expose ink to direct sunlight. Lightproof packaging should be restored a.s.a.p. after use. Never put used ink back in a bucket of fresh ink, store used ink in a separate container. |
| Daily cleaning | For manual cleaning of Anilox, rubber blankets, rollers, cylinders, vessels and other machine parts, use brushes or anilox pads. Use the retarder solvent, to avoid exposure and evaporation. |
