RESTINE® 173-04 series
RESTINE® 173-04 series is used as 2-Component ink for print on sausage casings and food grade packaging.
RESTINE® 173-04 series is an ester based printing ink for gravure printing.
RESTINE® 173-04 series was originally developed for printing on sausage casings.
The fully cured print achieves very high resistance properties, including heat-, frost-, oil & grease- and boiling- resistances.
The fully cured print can meet different demands incl. indirect food contact.

Daily cleaning | For manual cleaning of Anilox, rubber blankets, rollers, cylinders, vessels and other machine parts, use brushes or anilox pads in conjunction with the solvent combination used as thinner for the ink. It is advisable to use the appropriate retarder solvent, to avoid less exposure and evaporation. For deeper cleaning, you can use REDIVERS® 300 Cleaning gel 2200. |
Recommendations | To achieve boiling sterilization, grease and high heat resistances it is necessary to add 10% REDIVERS® 300 promotor 5032 to the ink. See” RESTINE® 173 Instructions for use”. |
Shelf life & Storage | RESTINE® 173-04 series should be used within 2 years from manufacture. It is recommended to store the product at a temperature between 5ºC and 30ºC. |
